The Systems Engineer is essential in designing, developing, and optimizing integrated systems that meet the high standards of maritime operations. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software engineers, as well as technical coordinators, to ensure the systems perform seamlessly, with a focus on reliability and safety. 
Duties
  • Design and control technical solutions for system integration and performance 
  • Develop and implement system-level designs, ensuring optimal functionality 
  • Integrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems to deliver systems that meet delivery specifications and industry standards 
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to define system requirements and align them with project goals 
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, for instance specifications, design reports, and test procedures 
  • Develop system-level test plans to validate performance, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards 
  • Analyze test results and suggest improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency 
  • Possibilities to take part in customer meetings, project execution and system testing at factories, yards and customer sites 
  • Research emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in lifting and handling solutions 
  • Propose and implement process improvements to optimize system development and lifecycle management 
Required skills
  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience in a similar role)
  • Strong understanding of the interaction between electrical drive systems, automation, hydraulics, and mechanical construction
  • Experience with electrical drive systems, power systems, hydraulic systems, and/or maritime lifting and handling equipment is an advantage
  • Service- and solution-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus
  • Commercial awareness and ability to balance technical and customer needs
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Curious, proactive, and improvement-oriented approach to work
  • Good communication skills in English and Polish (minimum B2 level)
