Offer description

We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our Production Follow Up Department.

 

Seaonics has an "outsourced" production, with companies/cooperation partners around the world. We have a large increase in orders and need increased capacity to handle production-related issues. From prototype design, clarifications with manufacturers, and production-related questions.

 

As a Production Engineer, you are responsible for clarifying questions from production, about substrates for small and large projects. You create production needs, based on technical data. Assists the designers in creating production friendly product. You speak English, are solution-oriented, and are practical.

Duties
  • Participate in the design and prototype development phase
  • Optimize designs for standard product manufacturing
  • Review technical drawings for production feasibility
  • Perform quality control of technical data, including weight and article number verification
  • Cooperate with DC/IDC teams and the Purchasing Department
  • Support standardization of components and material selection (Asia/America/Europe)
  • Prepare and distribute technical documentation to manufacturers
  • Define and support test requirements and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Production Follow-Up Manager on test planning
  • Respond to technical inquiries from manufacturers and support production processes
Required skills
  • Experience from production (Welding, machining)
  • Technical background/education
  • Good communication skills, written and spoken in English
  • General computer skills, and experience with CAD
  • Practical understanding
  • Solution-oriented
  • Accurate, independent and purposeful
  • Service setting
  • Great execution ability. The person employed will work closely with the others in projects and must have good collaboration skills. We can offer a challenging job with interesting tasks
